Here is a photo of the big boy caught on the Klamath! My trip for today canceled, so I am working on booking our next seasons. We are currently booking our fall/winter salmon and steelhead seasons. Remember, it’s first come first serve, so get your dates early. Keep your lines tight.
There are still quite a few fish moving through the mouth and into the lower river, reports Mike Coopman of Mike Coopman’s Guide Service. “The fishing was good last weekend as the fish were pretty aggressive biters. Most of the fish we’re catching are dime-bright, and they’re moving upriver quickly. Some nice ones are being caught in the deep holes, but we’re also catching quite a few in the flats and tail-outs. There’s quite a few steelhead around as well as silvers, so you’ll want to make sure it’s a king before you keep it,” Coopman said.
