Guide Mike Coopman reports the moss is still running strong, and there’s been very little effort to anchor for springers. “It’s pretty much unfishable with the moss, plus it’s warm and very clear. Until we get some water coming down, the moss will probably continue. I have heard of some adult steelhead in the river, but with the shape the rivers in, side-drifting for them is challenging,” Coopman added.
